Effective listening is one of the most critical and career-boosting skills you can possess. However, many people confess spending very little time honing their ability to listen well. During this highly interactive workshop, we will briefly review best practices for active, reflective, and empathic listening and will engage in hands-on exercises that will give you the opportunity to practice listening for what others are really saying.
At this seminar you will:
Learn to utilize active listening strategically to enhance your interactions,
Practice active listening via in-class activities and simulations,
Gain confidence in your ability to de-escalate emotionally charged situations,
Walk away with a tool that will help you to reduce misunderstandings and improve communication on your team.
