Join fellow like-minded, career-focused women at USC to discuss current professional development topics. Strategize for career advancement, problem solve a solution for an office concern, find support, collaboration, and encouragement. Bounce ideas off one another, hear how other units successfully tackle challenges, and make new connections from across the University. The Career Development Discussion group will meet monthly from 12:00-1:00pm, typically on a Wednesday. Feel free to bring a topic you’d like to discuss. Each meeting the moderator will facilitate a conversation around a relevant career topic such as:
Negotiation | Giving advice | Leading with authenticity |
Self-disclosure | Working w/ difficult coworkers | Mindfulness |
Managing burnout | Visibility | Sharing resources |
Handling conflict | Mentorship | Cross-generational teams |
