Problem-solving to Overcome Obstacles!

“A problem is a chance for you to do your best” (Duke Ellington)

When confronted with challenges, our initial instinct may be to avoid or to postpone addressing them. While many of us may have some tools for resolving problems, having an organized approach to employing problem- solving skills can hone our ability to masterfully navigate obstacles. Problem-solving is a process that includes defining a problem, analyzing, and creatively resolving difficulties. During this workshop, you will learn to utilize tools to clearly define your problem and generate possible solutions.

Topics:
*  Refine and define the problem
*  Identify barriers to problem resolution
*  Recognize supports and resources for resolving your problem
*  Improve conflict resolution through identifying mutually satisfying  alternative solutions
*  Utilize tools to identify your preferred solution to make a confident decision
