Equipping Yourself to Make Professional Life Changes – “Doing Battle with Imposter Syndrome”

Change can be daunting. The latest change on career progression shows 1 in 4 employees will change jobs this year, with up to 60% of U.S. employees considering or pursuing new or adjusted career paths. COVID, societal and economic factors are altering the labor landscape. As you experience the possibility for seismic shifts, have you ever felt doubt or inadequacy even when you have been and  are successful?

If so you may have experienced imposter syndrome, with the accompanying concern you will be discovered to be a fraud despite evidence of competency and success.

Join Dr. Sabrina Pasztor, Faculty Lecturer, USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, as we discuss imposter syndrome, and the personal, professional and psychological steps you can take to equip yourself with information, tools and techniques to combat it and support your career journey.
