Join us for a professional development workshop at HSC led by Professor Leigh Tost and PhD student Stephanie Smallets on November 6, 12pm-1pm, at the HSC Norris Medical Library, West Conference Room.
The results of the fall 2018 survey of WIM members, in which WIM members were asked to share their thoughts, concerns, and questions related to gender, diversity, and leadership in the contexts of their careers, will be discussed. The top themes that emerged from the survey will be identified, and the latest research findings related to those issues will be presented. A discussion of women’s varied leadership and workplace experiences will ensue, along with addressing tools and skills needed for problem-solving and promoting organizational change as it relates to issues of gender in the workplace.
