Founded in 1979 to empower women employed at the University of Southern California (USC), USC Women in Management (WIM) will be celebrating its 44th-Year Anniversary this year. Currently WIM is composed of over 250 members, who are dynamic and progressive individuals, employed in diverse positions throughout the various departments, schools, and across all campuses of USC.
WIM hosts women leaders at our speaker series and professional development events throughout the year at UPC and HSC. Our signature programs include the State of the University Address with Provost and Senior Vice Provosts, a Women Deans Panel, and the Honorary Membership luncheon that acknowledges the leadership of women within our ranks. In addition, the WIM board administers the selection of a candidate who is funded by USC Department of Administration to attend the annual HERS Summer Institutes that are dedicated to empowering a diverse network of women leaders in higher education. WIM produces a weekly E-newsletter that is distributed to approximately 800 subscribers about our upcoming events and current topics impacting women in the workplace.
